Originally from Pau, Caroline Henry started her training in violinmaking in Germany, as a luthier’s apprentice in Frankfurt Am Main. Later, after few years gaining work experience in Mirecourt, the French capital of stringed instrument making, she returned to Germany, in Dortmund. In 1989, she obtained the diploma of “Geigenbaumeister(in ?)” (master of stringed instrument making) in Düsseldorf and opened her workshop in Unna (Germany).

Her thirty-year-activity in Germany, provided her with the opportunity to develop and refine her skills in collaboration with many amateur and professional musicians, soloists or members of regional and international orchestras.

Since April 2019, in parallel with her activity in Unna, Germany, she has been operating from the workshop she set up in Jurançon, in the Pau metropolitan area (France).
